Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By creating an account, selecting a package plan, or scanning a Sosene QR code, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, possess the legal authority to bind your business entity, and accept all conditions outlined in this Agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must cease using the platform immediately.

2. Description of Services & QR Menus

Sosene offers a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution providing:

• Digital Menu Creator: Management of categories, dish pricing, food descriptions, allergen tags, and high-resolution photo galleries.
• Dynamic QR Code Generation: Automated QR codes mapping directly to clean venue URLs (e.g. /menu/bistro-slug).
• Table Request & Waiter Call System: Real-time table notification relay (`waiter_calls`) for staff alert management.
• Multi-Language Translation: Integrated Google Translate localization rendering for international guests.

3. Account Security & Admin Access

Vendor members are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials:

• Account Passwords: You must choose a strong password (minimum 6 characters). You are responsible for all changes performed under your credentials.
• Super Admin Security Gate: Super Admin operations are restricted via a 4-digit Security PIN Verification (`8888`). Unauthorized attempts to bypass security checks will result in immediate IP suspension.
• Impersonation & Support Access: Super Administrators reserve the right to temporarily access vendor control panels strictly for technical support, troubleshooting, or billing audits.

4. Subscriptions & Stripe Payments

Sosene operates under a multi-tier package plan model (Starter, Professional, Enterprise, Custom):

A. Payment Gateway & Currency

All online credit card transactions are processed securely via Stripe Gateway Integration. Prices are billed in the currency designated during plan selection.

Maintaining an active paid subscription is required to add, edit, or toggle status for menu categories and product items:

C. Plan Renewal & Cancellations

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly). You may cancel your subscription at any time prior to the renewal date via the Subscription Panel. Refunds for partial billing periods are not granted unless required by mandatory statutory laws.

5. Content Ownership & Acceptable Use

Vendors retain full intellectual property rights to all uploaded logos, brand graphics, dish photography, and menu descriptions. By uploading content, you grant Sosene a non-exclusive license to host and display the content for menu rendering purposes.

Prohibited Content & Misuse:

• Uploading illegal, offensive, defamatory, or copyright-infringing media.
• Attempting to execute malicious scripts, SQL injections, or cross-site scripting (XSS).
• Misrepresenting food pricing or offering illegal substances on public menus.

6. Platform SLA & Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% platform availability. However, Sosene does not guarantee uninterrupted service during scheduled system maintenance, server upgrades, hardware failures, or force majeure events outside our reasonable control.

7. Limitation of Liability & Warranties

Sosene is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sosene shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of business revenue, or dining order discrepancies arising out of platform usage.

8. Termination & Legal Disputes

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account violating these Terms of Service without prior notice. These Terms shall be governed by international commercial laws. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be settled through friendly negotiation or legal arbitration.
